About the Author:
Y.S. Srivastava's academic journey was marked by exceptional achievements – from being a third divisioner in the matriculation to the master's, and twice not even that!
Embarking on a diverse professional path, he started as a clerk, later transitioning to roles such as assistant master, lecturer in an intermediate college, and subsequently a sub-editor at The M.P. Chronicle in Bhopal. He continued his editorial journey at prestigious publications like The Indian Express and the Hindustan Times in Delhi, ascending to the position of Special Correspondent, Shillong.
Regrettably, the tomorrow he envisioned never materialized. If you are holding this work, it is a testament to his ego, as he candidly acknowledges in the Preface.
Srivastava perceived a purpose in life when God concealed his meanness from the public eye. Whether this belief holds true or not, remains a matter for your judgement.
